Jane Rosenberg is taking action.

Rosenberg, known for her questionable courtroom sketch of Tom Brady back in mid-August, recently discovered that companies have been illegally cashing in on her artwork by selling T-shirts, mugs and other items featuring her hilarious drawing of the New England Patriots quarterback. She’s not happy about it and has hired a lawyer, according to The Boston Globe.

“I was very surprised. I went online and Googled ‘Tom Brady Sketch T-shirts’ and a whole bunch of stuff came up that I had no clue there was,” Rosenberg told The Boston Globe on Tuesday. “I had to do something about it, and cease-and-desist notices have been going out.”

Rosenberg’s lawyer sent out four cease-and-desist orders, according to the artist, and she told The Boston Globe that businesses looking to spin a profit from her infamous sketch had until noon Tuesday to remove items featuring the “art.” She was ready to take the “next step” if they didn’t comply.

“I think it’s very dishonest for someone to sell T-shirts with my artwork,” Rosenberg said. “It’s too blatant. It’s a crime, and it’s just not OK. It’s my art, and someone else is making money on it without my consent.”

Rosenberg, who owns the rights to the sketch, still hasn’t decided what to do with the original version that kick-started an Internet firestorm. She told The Globe last month she has received multiple requests from people looking to purchase it, though.

Talk about an interesting Deflategate souvenir.
