Wednesday night reportedly wasn’t the first time Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jahlil Okafor was involved in an incident with hecklers.

Back in October, a heckler pointed a gun at the 19-year-old’s head following a verbal altercation, five sources told the Philadelphia Inquirer on Friday. This news comes two days after Okafor was involved in an altercation outside of a Boston nightclub following the Sixers’ 84-80 loss to the Celtics. He discussed it Friday for the first time.

“It was definitely dumb on my part,” Okafor said, via ESPN.com. “It’s something that I am embarrassed about. (I’m) still dealing with the league and the team. But I’m not happy about it at all.”

Original reports said the altercation happened when the heckler said something about the 76ers’ winless record. However, more information came out Friday when the alleged victim filed a police report.

“Victim states that two black males, one believed to be Okafor, approached his group of friends and quickly began talking to a few of his female friends in an effort obtain their phone numbers,” the Boston Police Department said in a statement. “According to the victim, when his female companions refused their advances, a verbal altercation ensued between him and the suspect.”

This is a change from earlier reports Friday, which said the Boston police weren’t planning on investigating the incident.
