Report: David Lee Won’t Hold Out on Knicks

Contrary to a report in the New York Post, restricted free agent David Lee is not expecting to hold out of camp for the New York Knicks, Yahoo reports.

Earlier in the week, the Post quoted Lee's agent, Mark Bartlestein, as saying, "I certainly hope [Lee won't have to hold out], but you have to have an agreement. I never thought we'd be this far without a deal. It comes down to making a deal. You have to ask [team president] Donnie [Walsh]."

Yahoo, however, reported that Bartelstein said "the paper totally misrepresented him and his quotes and that Lee isn't planning anything else but to play for the Knicks unless the team can work out some sort of sign-and-trade that will take him elsewhere."
