On Thursday, the Patriots dealt with the same rash of injuries that they dealt with on Wednesday — and by all indications, it seems that Tom Brady is going to have to learn to go without his favorite center for at least one week.

Dan Koppen, who left Sunday's win over Miami in the second quarter with a knee injury, did not participate in practice for the second straight day. Wide receiver Randy Moss also did not participate, but his absence was not injury related.

Also of concern is the status of safety Brandon Meriweather, who did not practice for the second consecutive day due to a foot injury.

Other Patriots who did not practice were:
LB Eric Alexander (groin)
WR Julian Edelman (arm)
DE Jarvis Green (knee)
T Matt Light (knee)
RB Sammy Morris (knee)
WR Brandon Tate (knee)
RB Fred Taylor (ankle)
DE Ty Warren (ankle)

Tight end Tully Banta-Cain (groin) had limited participation, as did tight end Chris Baker (shoulder).
