Whitehall High School is where it all started for Patriots' center Dan Koppen. On Jan. 29, it's also where the 1998 graduate will be immortalized in its Hall of Fame.

Koppen was a Big 33 selection as a senior at Whitehall, a town just outside of Allentown in the eastern part of Pennsylvania. He then went on to Boston College where he was a finalist for the Rimington Award, which is presented to the top collegiate center in the nation.

After a stellar career at the Heights, the 6-foot-2, 296-pounder was drafted in the fifth round (164th overall) of the 2003 draft by the New England Patriots where he played on two Super Bowl title squads and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2007.
