When Brandon Jacobs hurled his helmet into the stands on Sunday night, he was in no rush to retrieve it.
That's probably because he didn't think he would need it any longer, as the running back is requesting a trade, according to a Bergen Record source.
Jacobs had just four rushes for eight yards in the Giants' 38-14 loss to the Colts. He has fallen into a backup role behind Ahmad Bradshaw and is clearly frustrated with the new title. In the third quarter of the G-Men's Week 2 loss on Sunday night, the benched Jacobs attempted to spike his helmet in frustration on the sideline but accidentally flung it into the stands instead.
