Liverpool’s Payments to Agents in 2010 Up $3.7 Million From 2009

There's no doubting that the soccer clubs in England's top division enjoy spending those pounds.

According to the Premier League, teams dished out more than $104.8 million (67 million pounds) on player agents' fees in the past year (October 2009 and September 2010), with Chelsea and Liverpool coming in as the biggest spenders, according to The Associated Press.

Combined, the two clubs spent $28.4 million (18.2 million pounds).

Liverpool's payments to agents were up $3.7 million (2.4 million pounds) from the previous year.
