Ryan Giggs is staying at Manchester United for another go-around.
Giggs has signed a one-year contract extension with Manchester United, ensuring that the 37-year-old will stay with the club for his 21st season, the Associated Press reports.
The Welshman made his debut with the club in March of 1991, and since then has scored 158 goals and won 11 Premier League titles, two Champions League titles, four FA Cups and three League Cups.
"It is great to know I'm contributing to the team's success," Giggs said. "I feel I've still got a lot to offer. All I've ever wanted to do is play for United and I've been lucky enough to do that for 20 years. This is an exciting time to be involved with so many good young players coming through."
The veteran winger continues to play a major role to the club's success and has made 862 appearances for the Red Devils during his 20-year career.
"You run out of words to describe Ryan Giggs," said Manager Alex Ferguson. "He is a marvelous player and a wonderful man. To have the desire and the ability to play at the top level in such a physically demanding position at his age requires a special person. He is still turning in man-of-the-match performances and his experience is so vital for the younger players in the squad."
Giggs has scored three goals in 24 appearances this season.
