In an attempt to speed along the rebuilding process, the Cleveland Cavaliers are working on a three-team deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons that would secure the top two picks in next month's NBA Draft, according to ESPN.com.

As part of the proposed deal, the Cavs would reportedly receive the No. 8 pick from the Pistons, along with veteran shooting guard Richard Hamilton and his two-year, $25 million contract. Cleveland would then send that pick, along with their own No. 4 pick, to Minnesota in exchange for the second pick.

Sources say the Cavaliers have their sights set on Duke's Kyrie Irving and Arizona's Derrick Williams with the top two picks of the draft. The team would also likely use its $14.6 million trade exception to buy out the remainder of Hamilton's contract.
