Golfer Thomas Levet Breaks Shin Jumping in Lake After French Open Win, May Miss British Open (Video)

The only thing worse than sustaining an injury is sustaining an injury while celebrating, especially if it forces you to miss time in your respective sport, which is the case for golfer Thomas Levet.

Following his French Open triumph on Sunday, Levet jumped into a nearby water hazard with his manager. Unfortunately for the Frenchman, he broke his shin on the jump, which could keep him out of the upcoming British Open.

Levet's management company, IMG, says the 42-year-old is receiving "intense treatment to the fracture" and will consult with a specialist this week in a bid to make the Open.
