Patriots Injury Report: Julian Edelman (Back) Still Limited In Practice

Julian Edelman, Harrison SmithFOXBORO, Mass. — Two of the New England Patriots’ offensive stars remained limited in practice Thursday.

Julian Edelman (back) and Shane Vereen (shoulder) weren’t full participants in practice for the second straight day, according to the Patriots’ practice participation and injury report.

Defensive end Michael Buchanan (ankle), linebacker Jamie Collins (thigh), offensive linemen Dan Connolly and Ryan Wendell, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, tight end Rob Gronkowski (knee), safety Don Jones (hamstring) and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga (hand) also were limited in practice. Jones was back on the field after missing practice Wednesday.

Linebacker Jerod Mayo was back on the practice field after missing Wednesday’s session to celebrate the birth of his child.
