A trip to the World Series is on the line as the Houston Astros host the Texas Rangers in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series on Monday night.

Texas went into Minute Maid Park on Sunday night and earned a 9-2 victory to force the winner-take-all contest. It snapped a three-game losing skid for the Rangers, who incredibly have won all three games at Minute Maid Park in the series.

Right-hander Cristian Javier will take the mound for Houston while Texas will counter with right-hander Max Scherzer. Javier allowed two runs on three hits in 5 2/3 innings during the Astros Game 3 victory at Globe Life Field. In the same matchup, Scherzer surrendered five runs on five hits in four innings.

Houston is a slight favorite entering the contest with the run total set at nine, according to consensus data on NESNBets.com.
