What's the polite thing to do after breaking someone's nose? Dwyane Wade apologized to Kobe Bryant for bloodying up the Lakers guard during the All-Star game, but isn't feeling too sorry about it, apparently.
"I don't know if anybody wants me to get down on my knees in front of the world and [apologize]," Wade said. "Like I said, I sent my apologies to Kobe, and I move on from it."
Bryant reportedly suffered a mild concussion from Wade's hit from behind during the second half of the All-Star game. Wade is standing by his actions, but saying that he never meant any harm by the contact.
"He knows it's no ill intent on me to do that," Wade said. "Did I take a foul? Yes, I took a foul. So, talk about me for taking a foul. But I never wanted that kind of outcome."
Wade sent a message to Bryant expressing his apologies, but it remains to be seen how Kobe will take it. Bryant may be out for revenge on Sunday, when the Lakers welcome the Heat to Los Angeles.
