John Schreiber was lights out in the eighth.
The Boston Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday afternoon by a score of 6-4 to win the series.
Schreiber came into the game with the Red Sox having a 3-1 lead and shut down the Cardinals, striking out the side in order.
