Since facing setbacks in his recovery, Yu Chang started as the designated hitter with Double A Portland as part of his rehab assignment Friday night.

Tom Caron discussed Chang’s potential return timeline prior to the Boston Red Sox second game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Chang has been out since April after undergoing surgery for a left hand fracture.
