The Boston Red Sox look to flip the script after their eighth straight loss in home openers Friday night.

The Red Sox are three games behind the Toronto Blue Jays for an American League wild-card spot.

At Fenway Park on Saturday, Garrett Whitlock was spotted throwing live batting practice on the field, showing positive signs that his return to the Red Sox rotation could be in the near future.
