The Boston Red Sox maintained their season win-streak over the Toronto Blue Jays thanks to a clutch final play by Alex Verdugo in the ninth inning.

Verdugo’s precision and strength was on full display with a perfect throw from right field to Connor Wong at home plate to prevent a game-tying run.
